The HRET HIIN hospital case studies provide visibility into how and where hospitals have been successful in reducing all-cause harm, readmissions, patient and family engagement or health disparities. Case studies have been developed as a practical resource to help guide the development and implementation of interventions that improve patient safety, particularly as it relates to the HIIN goals of reducing in-patient harm by 20% and readmissions by 12%.
Case studies focus both on the hospital journey and the end-result of such efforts, these studies aim to help health care organizations understand the issues, strategies and challenges they may face along the path to harm reduction. They provide key insights and lessons learned from organizations that have already been there. Thank you to our partners who have contributed case studies for others to learn from.
